tried to buy car saying email husband I was trying to sell a phone and got a message to contact her husband on smanthony002 @ gmail.com and confirm the price.
Then I got a lovely message from him :
Thanks for the response. I am buying it for my son who just graduated on top of his class in a missionary school in West Africa and am so proud of him .i want it as a surprise package to appreciate him towards his achievement and i will want it to be ship to him.
I work with AWE New Zealand Pty Ltd and we are presently offshore in New Zealand Taranaki Basin on kapo project. We do not have access to phone at the moment, its 15days off and 15days on,which is why I contacted you with internet messaging facility. And why are you selling it if you don't mind my asking.
As regards the payment, I can pay you through direct bank deposit, using ppal instant bank wire transfer service as i have my ANZ bank account link up with my PayPal account so I will be paying you through Account to your nominated bank account or better still is if you have a PayPal account ,please get back to me with your BSB and account details or PayPal account so i can proceed with the payment. Await your reply.
I will offer you $15,000 just to close the deal and so you don't sell to another buyer. However, I will not be able to come for inspection, all i need is your sincere word that the car is in good condition as described online. Please let me know if you accept my offer. Regarding the payment, i will be paying you through PayPal, please get back to me with your paypal details so i can process the payment or if you don't have paypal, I can also pay you through direct bank deposit using paypal instant bank wire transfer service as i have my N.A.B account attached to my paypal account. I will need your bank details to the transfer EFT. My wife is disabled that's why i can't send her to complete the transaction in my absence. more so, i wanted the service of my moving agents as they will be able to handle all the important change of ownership and other related documentation issues with my personal details and information which i am not comfortable handing over to just random folks. I have contacted my courier who will come for pick up and deliver it to my place after the whole fund has been cleared into your account. I am presently offshore in the Timor Sea on a project. I do not have access to a phone at the moment as i work 15days off and 15days on, which is why I contacted you via the internet messaging facility. I do have a few questions; Where is it located at the moment? Does the car have any history I should be aware of in advance? and why are you selling if you don't mind my asking. I am already in talks with the courier that will handle the pick-up and deliver it to NT.
Had a very funny conversation with “David” after reading these reviews. He told me he works at RAF so I told him I did too, eventually managed to convince him I knew the person he worked for and he said he would give the money to him to give to me! That person was called Captain David Bowie... This scammer isn’t very smart.
I managed to get him up to £380 for a phone that was advertised for £170, and asked that he send money to PayPal email dumbsh @ thead.co.uk. It was then he cottonned on and told me he actually sent it to “getf*cked@*sshole.co.uk
A very funny string of emails and well worth the time. But seriously, don’t sell to this guy.
