I received a text message that started with:
Notice: Review You Recent Account Activity
Dear Pay Pal User,
We noticed a purchase on your account that stands out from your usual spending patterns…. A company name was mentioned. … The transaction amount … Transaction ID …
It was suggested that if I didn’t make the purchase, to contact the dedicated support line, etc.
My concern is, that I don’t have a PayPal account! It appears as though someone is using my mobile phone number. I checked my bank accounts and the balance is correct.
